Mean values ± SEM for plasma amino acid concentrations (μmol/l) before and 60, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270, 360 min after supplementation with leucine and glucose (GLU+CON) or plain water (CON), n = 11. Within a treatment there was no significant differences from resting values. Within a time point, value for GLU+LEU treatment did not differ significantly from the value for the CON treatment.
