Mean (±SEM) score for vaginal discharge of cows treated with a combination of parenteral antibiotic and NSAID (group A) and with a combination of parenteral administration of antibiotic and PGF2 α (group B), in comparison with the non-treated control group (group C) and healthy cows (group D). Vaginal discharge was scored as follows: 5 = watery mucohaemorrhagic malodorous secretion; 4 = viscous haemopurulent discharge; 3 = viscous purulent material; 2 = mucus with the presence of pus; 1 = clear mucus; 0 = no discharge.
