   (excl. Area IV)

  1. Log (Fe): the logarithm of the mean iron concentrations; Log (Mn): the logarithm of the mean manganese concentrations;
  2. Log (Fe/Mn): the logarithm of the mean iron/manganese ratios; Cu: mean concentrations of copper (mg kg-1); Zn: mean concentrations of zinc (mg kg-1). SED: Standard error of difference. Means marked with the same letter, a, b or c, constitute groups of non-significant differences at the α = 0.05 (5%) level of significance. Area IV is not included in the construction of non-significant ranges and the SED is the mean of values excluding comparisons with Area IV.
